MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA

In order to advance the ADR Roundtable's mission:
(1) Membership is
  (A) By consensus invitation of the members;
  (B) Limited to
    (i) Puget Sound area lawyers,
    (ii) who have distinguished themselves in the ADR community or who have an abiding interest in ADR as demonstrated by
        (a) their professional work as a law teacher, full-time neutral or practicing lawyer engaged in the resolution of business and commercial disputes, or
        (b) active involvement with professional groups or associations that focus on ADR;
        (c) Limited to no more than 30 persons, each of whom commits to attending at least half of the ADR Roundtable meetings during a year (September - June); and
        (d) Limited to no more than one member from a law firm or group.

(2) Members are permitted to bring a guest (client or professional colleague) to no more than two meetings each year. In order to maintain the collegiality inherent in sm aller-group discussions, members should notify the chair prior to the m eeting of the name and affiliation of any guest they propose to bring to the meeting.
