MISSION STATEMENT

The ADR Roundtable’s mission is three-fold:

(1)   By drawing on the collective experience of members at monthly "roundtables"
       (a) To provide a forum for the discussion of recent developments, initiatives and practices in ADR generally and in the two principal forms of ADR (mediation and arbitration) in particular; and
       (b) To develop the mediation and arbitration skills of members.

(2)   By member dissemination of the highlights of roundtable discussions and other recent developments, initiatives and practices in ADR to their professional colleagues and clients, to encourage the appropriate use of ADR processes and techniques in resolving business and commercial disputes.

(3)   Through the ADR Roundtable website and periodic print media advertising, to provide a vehicle for members to advertise their skills and experience in ADR generally, and in resolving business and commercial disputes in particular, to other members, the law firms or groups with whom members are affiliated, the clients of members' law firms, and lawyers and business leaders in the Puget Sound area.
