Seattle University (B.A., 1954) and Gonzaga University (LLB, 1960).
Trained as an Arbitrator in 1970 and as a professional Mediator starting in 1983 by the American Arbitration Association. Have attended and served as faculty on numerous seminars pertaining to Mediation and Arbitration sponsored by AAA, Settlement Now, King County and Washington State Bar Associations. Completed Mediation training and certificated by the Institute for Conflict Management, Inc. Have participated either as the sole Mediator, sole Arbitrator or chair of an Arbitration panel in more than 1,500 separate proceedings. Sums involved range from as little as $10,000 to more than $20,000,000.
